When a child would see an OT?

If your child has trouble with:

- Self Care including Showering, Dressing and Toileting

- Handwriting

- Managing Routines

- Sleep

- Age Appropriate Play

- I become overwhelmed in my environment

- I have trouble participating in daily life

When would an Adult see an OT?

If you have trouble with:

- Self Care including Showering, Dressing, Cooking and Toileting

- Managing Routines

- Sleep routine and Sleep Environments

- Has difficulty engaging in the community

- Requires mobility aids such as WheelChairs, Walking Frames or Motorised Scooters

- Has or is at risk of Pressure Sores

- Requires help with Energy Conservation and pacing

- Has difficulties engaging in leisure and recreation activities

When would a child see a Speech Pathologist?

If your Child has trouble with:

- Eating or Drinking

- Handling some food textures

- Doesn't speak clearly or is disjointed in their speech

- Has a stutter or a lisp

- Reading or writing

- Making Friends

- Giving up Thumb Sucking

- Communicating with friends, parents or teachers.

When would an Adult see a Speech Pathologist?

If you have trouble with:

- Eating or Drinking

- Handling some food textures

- Doesn't speak clearly or is disjointed in their speech

- Has a stutter or a lisp

- Reading or writing

- Making Friends

- Communicating with friends or peers

When would a child see a Dietitian?

If your Child has trouble with:

- Eating a variety of food

- Not getting sufficient nutrition (malnutrition) and poor growth

- Has a food intolerance or allergy

- Diabetes

- Childhood Obesity and weight management issues

- Coeliac Disease

When would an Adult see a Dietitian?

If you have trouble with:

- Weight Management (both under and over weight)

- Allergy or suspected food intolerance

- High cholesterol, heart disease, high blood pressure

- Nutrition based symptoms of cancer treatment

- help fuelling for athletic performance events

- Managing Diabetes (both Type 1 and Type 2)

When would you need to see a Music Therapist?

If you or your child have trouble with:

- Communication

- Engaging with others

- Memory or degenerative conditions

- Physical impairments 

- Managing pain

- Handling loss and grief
